Employers wanting to recruit international students studying in Australia should not miss this opportunity. We will provide you with the opportunity to meet and interview students from at least FIVE universities in a world class venue.

These students include:

  • Final-year international students seeking opportunities at home
  • Final-year international students eligible for 18 month visas to work in Australia
  • Pre final-year international student seeking information and contacts

The Fair will be attended by students studying undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees and PhD or research masters across all disciplines.

The international Careers Fair in Brisbane on Monday 1 September 2008 continues to be a joint initiative of a group of Queensland universities and the Queensland Government.

In 2008 the participating universities include: Bond University, Griffith University, Queensland University of Technology, The University of Queensland and the University of Southern Queensland.

Students - View Employers attending More than 3,500 international and local university students attended the 2007 International Careers Fair (ICF), which was held at the Brisbane City Hall on Thursday 9 August.

With a line up of 38 exhibitors and employers from around the world, the Fair offered university graduates unparalleled opportunities to line up jobs overseas. Employers included leading global companies such as Accenture, KPMG, Deutsche Bank, CapitaLand who were recruiting high quality graduates to fill positions in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan and Vietnam. Students studying PhD and research masters were also specifically targeted by many of the exhibitors.

The 2007 Fair also featured 22 Chinese government representatives from the Chinese Service Centre for Scholarly Exchange, Chongqing Personnel Bureau, and Hubei Provincial Personnel Department who were interested in attracting Chinese university graduates and Chinese migrants to return home and work in China.
